Loyalty card for hair salons

A hair salon loyalty card that follows completed appointments

Start the free trial 7 days free · pay €0 today · payment card required on activation

For a hair salon, a stamp should follow a completed service rather than a booking alone. With Iterum, owners set qualifying visits, a stamp target and a reward. Customers open the card from a QR code on their phone without an app; staff scan it after the appointment to confirm the stamp. The service has a 7-day trial that requires a payment card.

Haircut, colour or treatment: what earns a stamp?

Write a rule that every team member can apply. You might count each completed appointment or only a specified service. A booking that is cancelled or missed should not automatically earn a stamp: Iterum records staff-confirmed visits, not information from the salon diary.

Cuts, colour and treatments can have different prices and visit frequencies. One visit-based card may not fit every service. Keep the rule simple, or consider a separate programme only if the plan and salon workflow support it. The customer loyalty programme guide helps define a clear target and conditions.

A reception workflow that keeps your existing diary

Place the QR code near reception or a mirror where customers can open it without holding up the queue. The web card opens in their browser. Enrolment requires a checkbox relating to the privacy notice; name and recovery contact are optional. After a service, the customer shows the card and authorised staff scan it to record the stamp.

Test the hand-off across shifts: who checks that the service qualifies, who scans, and who gives the reward? Iterum does not claim a connection to booking software, the salon management system or POS. The stamp is a separate staff confirmation. The digital loyalty card guide explains the full journey.

  1. Define the visit

Write down which completed services qualify for a stamp.

  2. Test with two phones

Open the card from the QR code on one phone and confirm the stamp on a staff device.

  3. Redeem consistently

Check cost and conditions in advance so every shift follows the same rule.

Choose a reward your margin can support

A free service may cost the salon much more than a small product or extra treatment. Use your actual cost, not the list price, and divide it by the required visits. The reward cost calculator performs that division without promising extra bookings or revenue.

If customers normally return after long intervals, a high target can take considerable time. Check actual appointment frequency and explain any reward conditions before launch. The card does not automatically send booking reminders and does not replace your diary.

See a demonstration card before making one

Open the hair salon card preview. Its business name and stamp counts are invented to show the design; they are not a real customer salon or measured results. A paper card can still help customers who do not use smartphones or a salon running a manual test.

You can design a card before activating a plan. The service trial lasts 7 days and asks for a payment card; the price and conditions appear in the activation flow.

Frequently asked questions

Does booking an appointment automatically earn a stamp?
The salon chooses its rule. Awarding a stamp after a completed service is clearer: Iterum does not read bookings and only records visits confirmed by staff.
Do customers need an app?
No. The web card opens from a QR code or link in the phone browser.
Does Iterum connect to salon booking or POS software?
This guide does not claim integration with the diary, management software or POS. Staff record the visit separately in the browser.
Can staff stamp without Internet access?
No. Enrolment and staff-confirmed stamps require a connection.
How much does the trial cost?
You can design the card before activation. To use the service, choose a plan: the trial lasts 7 days, requires a payment card, and shows the later price in the activation flow.
