A restaurant loyalty card needs a visit rule that the floor team and cashier can apply consistently. With Iterum, the restaurant chooses that rule, a threshold and a reward; customers open a web card from a QR code and staff confirms an eligible visit. Stamps do not come from the bill: Iterum does not read POS data, covers or bookings.
Decide when a meal earns a stamp
A completed lunch, dinner or a visit on a defined day could qualify. These are examples, not recommended settings. Explain when staff records the stamp. For shared bills, decide whether each customer may present a separate card. A scan confirms the visit under your rule; it does not check diners, dishes or spend.

Fit the confirmation into service
Place the QR where customers can open it without holding up service. For an eligible visit, authorised staff scans the customer card and confirms a stamp. Test the journey with two phones and several shifts before displaying the QR widely. Joining and confirming a visit both need a connection.
Iterum does not take bookings, read the POS or replace restaurant management software. If your goal is to award points by spend or dish, a visit-based rule may not fit.
Check the actual cost of the reward
