Iterum offers a web stamp card: the QR opens a form with a required checkbox relating to the privacy notice. Name and recovery contact are optional, and no app is needed. Staff confirm visits in a browser; owners choose the target and reward. A Wallet pass is optional when available.

How this differs from an app
A conventional app asks customers to download something before they can see a card. Here the QR code opens a short browser enrolment form with a required checkbox relating to the privacy notice; the card appears after confirmation.
Removing the download does not make enrolment automatic: place the QR code well and give customers a clear reason to keep the card.
How stamps are recorded
Authorised staff open the Iterum till, scan the customer's card code and confirm a visit. Customers see their progress towards the reward chosen by the business.
The staff page needs access and a connection. It does not promise offline stamping or automatic POS purchase recognition.
When this approach fits
Choose it for a visit-based programme with quick enrolment and a counter flow staff can explain. If your priority is an integrated till or receipt-value points, check those requirements first.
