Iterum terms of use
Iterum provides tools to configure and administer digital loyalty programmes. The business owner defines the threshold, reward, locations and authorised people.
Proper use
Visits must be verified by staff through the server. Offline awards, chance-based schemes, or promises not configured in the programme are not supported.
Promotions, prizes and liability
The venue is solely responsible for the prizes, thresholds and any prize operations it configures. If the programme falls under DPR 430/2001, the resulting obligations (for example the deposit and the self-certification to the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy) are the venue's alone: Iterum does not check them or carry them out on its behalf. Messages sent through Iterum must be about its own business or the loyalty card only, with no third-party advertising and no unlawful or misleading content. Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, the total liability of FIDUS S.R.L., which provides Iterum, towards the venue is limited to what the venue paid it for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage.
Support and access by FIDUS
To provide support, fix technical problems and protect the service, FIDUS S.R.L. staff authorised to process data may access the business’s panel. They do so only for these purposes, are bound to confidentiality (Art. 28(3)(b) GDPR and Art. 2-quaterdecies of the Italian Privacy Code), and every access is recorded in FIDUS S.R.L.’s internal systems. While inside, customer data is processed only on the business’s behalf, as data processor (Art. 28 GDPR), and never for any other purpose. The business may ask for the list of accesses at any time by writing to privacy@fidus.media.
Subscription, trial and cancellation
Iterum is a service for businesses and professionals: whoever buys it, even without a VAT number, uses it for their own business. Iterum’s paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions, charged to the card given at purchase. The first subscription includes a 7-day free trial: the card is required up front, but the first charge happens only when the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs nothing. At the end of each period the subscription renews automatically for a period of the same length, charged to the same card, until it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the panel, on the Subscription page (or from the payment portal it links to); the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: until then the service stays active, and no further charges follow.
Prices, invoices and refunds
Plan prices are shown net of VAT: Italian VAT at 22% is added to every charge. Customers who buy as a business with a VAT number receive the electronic invoice through the Italian Exchange System (SDI), at the recipient code or PEC address they gave or, if none, in their tax drawer at the Italian Revenue Agency. Customers who buy without a VAT number give their tax code (codice fiscale) and address: the electronic invoice reaches their tax drawer at the Italian Revenue Agency and they receive a copy by email. The PDF you find in the panel, generated by Stripe (the payment provider), is a courtesy copy with no tax value. Amounts charged are not refundable for periods already started, not even in part: cancelling stops later renewals but does not return the unused part of the period, except where the law requires a refund.
The Italian version prevails.
