A BonusQR alternative is best chosen by asking who has to sign up and who gives the stamps. On 26 October 2026 BonusQR has a Free plan at €0 with no end date, unlimited customers and Wallet, but the customer creates a BonusQR account and on Free only the owner stamps. Iterum starts at €29.99 a month plus VAT, with no customer account and staff on every plan.

BonusQR alternative: compare prices, customer accounts, Wallet and staff
BonusQR and Iterum both put the loyalty card on the customer’s phone, with a QR code and Apple or Google Wallet, but they start from different ideas: BonusQR is a platform with many mechanics and a customer account that works across several businesses, Iterum a stamp or points card for your business alone, built around the staff at the counter. The table reports what the official pages said on 26 October 2026; we have not opened a BonusQR account or tried the app, so check the BonusQR price list (Italian page) before you choose.

What changed at BonusQR in October 2026
Between 18 and 21 October 2026 BonusQR rebuilt its price list. Billing used to be monthly, quarterly or half-yearly; there is now an annual option too, with a discount of up to 22%: Basic goes from €19 to €15 a month, or €180 a year, and Premium from €69 to €54 a month, or €648 a year. Basic has 9 programmes instead of 8, adding the tiered stamp card, and Premium 12 instead of 11.
The price list now also says how often you can write to customers: on Basic, push and email news goes out at most once every 4 days, on Premium as often as daily. New terms of service apply from 25 October 2026: the subscription is paid in advance for the whole period chosen and renews automatically, a period already started is not refunded, and BonusQR keeps 5% of payments taken through the e-shop.
How much BonusQR costs in 2026, and how much Iterum costs
On the Italian price list in euros, BonusQR costs less to start: Free costs nothing with no end date and Basic costs €19 a month, or €15 on the annual plan. The price list does not say whether VAT is included; the terms say it is applied according to the law. The price you subscribe at stays the same until you cancel. Iterum Base costs €29.99 a month plus VAT, or €299.90 a year plus VAT.

BonusQR or Iterum: what you spend in the first year, in three cases
The comparison depends on who gives the stamps and which tools you need. In the first two cases BonusQR costs less; in the third the price flips, because referrals and birthday vouchers are on Premium. Premium does, however, add tools that Iterum’s pages do not describe, such as multi-tier cashback, a coupon e-shop and Google review requests.

Why people look for a BonusQR alternative
Usually because of one of these points, all stated by BonusQR. The customer has to create a BonusQR account: it takes one click, but it is an extra step at the counter, and the account is run by BonusQR, which makes it work with other businesses too. In the standard BonusQR app the customer also sees other businesses nearby. Staff logins grow with the plan, and on Free only the manager gives stamps. When to consider BonusQR
BonusQR is a real alternative if you want to start without spending anything: Free costs €0 with no end date, does not limit customers or scans and already includes Apple and Google Wallet, which in Iterum come with the Base plan. With Basic, from €15 a month on the annual plan, it costs less than Iterum even with 5 employees giving stamps. And it offers many more mechanics and tools: cashback, multi-tier too, spend rewards, pre-sold coupons, bookings, WooCommerce and Shopify integrations, Google review requests and an app with your own brand.
Where Iterum can fit
Iterum can suit you if you would rather not ask customers for an account: they scan the QR code and the card opens in the browser, with no app, password or profile to create, and it belongs to your business alone. Staff have accounts with roles and permissions on every plan, with no user limit, and Base already gives you Wallet, the customer list with export and automations such as «Buon compleanno» (happy birthday) or «Ci manchi» (we miss you).
The refer-a-friend programme is on every plan too: you switch it on card by card, the customer shares a personal link and, at the friend’s first real visit, both get the reward you chose, in stamps, points or a gift, with a monthly cap on rewarded friends per person who invites. Iterum has no cashback, its pages do not describe bookings, a coupon e-shop or review requests, and it does not connect to the till: for that, see loyalty card and till.
Trial, plans and cancelling
BonusQR starts the Free plan with no payment card. Paid plans are paid in advance through Stripe for the period chosen, from one month to one year, and renew automatically; you can cancel at any time in the settings, the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and a period already started is not refunded. Iterum offers a 7-day trial: you pay €0 today, a payment card is required and, unless you cancel under «Subscription» before it ends, the chosen plan starts. Count who gives stamps at the counter
If only you give stamps, BonusQR Free is enough; with employees you need Basic, up to 5 logins, or Premium. In Iterum, staff accounts are on every plan.
Test sign-up with a real customer
Count the steps from the QR code to the first stamp, account included, and see what the customer gets in the browser, the app or Wallet.
Be clear about who holds the data
Under BonusQR’s terms you are the controller of the loyalty data and BonusQR is the processor, while the customer’s account belongs to BonusQR; before closing your account you can ask for an export of your customers.

Is there a free alternative to BonusQR?
Yes, with different limits. On 25 October 2026 FaveCard had a Free plan with no end date, one card at a time in the browser and Wallet on the paid plans, after 30 days of premium tools free (comparison with FaveCard); PassFacile had a Free plan with cards in Wallet, but with 10 demo cards and a cap of 110 (comparison with PassFacile).
