FidelitySmart alternative: prices, contract, Wallet and staff compared

FidelitySmart and Iterum both put stamps and points on the customer’s phone without an app to download, but you buy them differently: FidelitySmart sells annual packages on a 12-month contract, Iterum a monthly or yearly subscription you cancel from the dashboard. The table shows what the official pages state on 4 November 2026; check FidelitySmart’s price list before you choose.

How much FidelitySmart costs in 2026, and how much Iterum costs

FidelitySmart publishes a «Listino Ufficiale 2026» (official 2026 price list) with three annual packages: Raccolta Timbri at €240, Raccolta Punti at €290 in the first year and €220 from the second, and the Gift Card Kit at €350 in the first year and €220 from the second. Set-up, importing the customer list and staff training are free; extra users, PVC cards and SMS or WhatsApp messages are charged separately.

Iterum is paid monthly or yearly, and the yearly plan is 10 monthly payments for 12 months. The same three figures are on the pricing page; to set FidelitySmart beside other services, see the guide on how much a loyalty card costs.

What you spend with FidelitySmart or Iterum: 5 cases

FidelitySmart costs less in four cases out of five. In the cases in the table, Iterum costs less only when at least three people at the counter want their own login: FidelitySmart charges €50 a year for each extra user, while Iterum does not limit staff accounts.

Does FidelitySmart have a minimum term? A 12-month contract and a 30-day trial

Yes: according to the terms FidelitySmart publishes, the contract runs for 12 months, renews automatically and is cancelled by PEC or email at least 30 days before it expires, with no penalty. Billing is annual and in advance at activation, by bank transfer or credit card; branded cards and displays arrive in about 10–12 working days after you approve the artwork.

FidelitySmart’s trial is longer and easier to start: 30 days with no payment details, and if you don’t continue the account goes inactive. Iterum’s trial lasts 7 days and asks for a payment card at activation; you pay €0 today and, unless you cancel, the chosen plan starts. In return, Iterum’s monthly plan can be cancelled whenever you like and the yearly plan stops at renewal, both from the dashboard: the terms are on the free trial page.

Who gives the stamp: the customer asks with FidelitySmart, staff confirm with Iterum

With FidelitySmart the customer scans the shop’s QR code, or the one on the receipt, and requests the stamp or points from the phone; the request reaches the shop’s dashboard, on a phone or a computer, and becomes credit only once confirmed. When the threshold is reached, the customer sees it on the phone and requests the reward.

With Iterum the customer opens the card by scanning the QR code at the counter and saves it to the Wallet; after that, whoever is at the counter gives the stamp in the «Al banco» app, by scanning the card’s QR code or typing its code. Customers cannot stamp their own card, and if the same card comes back before the minimum interval the owner set, the visit is not counted twice. Staff use «Al banco» in the browser or the business app on the App Store and Google Play; the steps are on the how it works page.

Both leave the final word to the shop. The practical difference is who makes the first move: with FidelitySmart the customer prepares the request and the till approves it; with Iterum the customer shows the card and the till stamps it.

Does FidelitySmart work with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?

The FidelitySmart pages checked on 4 November 2026, namely the home page, how it works, solutions, sectors and prices, do not mention Apple Wallet or Google Wallet: the customer uses an area in the smartphone browser, with nothing to install. Ask FidelitySmart how customers find their card again after the first visit.

With Iterum the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet pass is included on every plan, on compatible phones, and customers who don’t save it use the same card in the browser. The pass shows the stamps or points and the shop’s messages, which on an iPhone can also appear on the lock screen.

Gift cards and counter kits: where FidelitySmart offers more

FidelitySmart sells digital and physical gift cards, and the Gift Card Kit includes 30 branded PVC cards with holders and a counter display. On its solutions page, coupons and prize draws are marked «In arrivo» (coming soon), and discount cards and memberships «Su richiesta» (on request).

Iterum does not handle gift cards or credit in euros. From the Pro plan it sells prepaid packages at the counter, such as 10 blow-dries or a bundle of car washes, which are a different thing: the customer uses up services rather than spending a balance. For the counter Iterum provides a printable QR poster, and Premium adds physical NFC cards. When FidelitySmart may be the better choice

FidelitySmart is cheaper for a shop with one person at the counter: €240 a year for the stamp card, against €299.90 for Iterum Base yearly, and Raccolta Punti drops to €220 from the second year with unlimited reward thresholds. The 30-day trial with no credit card lets you try it with less commitment than Iterum’s trial.

It also suits you if you need gift cards, a ready-made physical kit for the counter or SMS and WhatsApp messages, which Iterum does not send. Set-up, customer import and training are free, and phone support answers on weekdays: if you would rather have someone set up the first campaign with you, that is a real advantage.

Where Iterum may fit

Iterum (by FIDUS) may suit you if you want the card in the customer’s Wallet, if you don’t want to sign a 12-month contract or if several people work the counter: staff accounts, with roles and permissions, are included with no maximum number from Base. Stamps and points are on the same plan, and you choose card by card with the guide on stamps or points.

At the counter you can give several stamps in one visit, up to 50, with a reason above 5, and undo a wrong stamp within 10 minutes. Base includes automations such as «Buon compleanno» (happy birthday) and «Ci manchi» (we miss you) to win back lost customers, and the refer-a-friend programme. Iterum does cost more, though, has a shorter trial that asks for a payment card, and has no gift cards, SMS or WhatsApp.

FidelitySmart reviews: what you can check today

FidelitySmart’s pages carry two testimonials, from a car wash in Teano and from a pharmacy. With no app to download there are no store ratings, and in our own search on 21 October 2026 we found no listings on software directories such as Capterra or G2: to form a view, ask FidelitySmart for a shop that uses it.

Iterum does not publish customer reviews on these pages. The most useful test is still a normal shift at the counter, with a customer’s phone and a colleague’s: with FidelitySmart during its 30-day trial, with Iterum during the 7-day trial.

4 checks before you choose

1. Try the customer journey

   On an iPhone and an Android phone, count the steps from the first scan to the first stamp, and check how the customer finds the card a week later: in the browser with FidelitySmart, in the Wallet or the browser with Iterum.

2. Read the term and cancellation

   With FidelitySmart, put the 12-month expiry and the 30-day notice for PEC or email in your calendar; with Iterum, check in the dashboard when the first charge falls and how the renewal stops.

3. Count who stamps

   Multiply the extra users by €50 a year with FidelitySmart; with Iterum, create an account for each person and test the staff role’s permissions.

4. Check data and rewards

   Ask how you export the customer list if you change provider and who the data controller is; the guide on loyalty cards and the GDPR lists the questions to ask.

FidelitySmart or Iterum for car washes, cafés, beauty salons and pharmacies

FidelitySmart presents five sectors on a single page, each with a sample reward, such as «9 lavaggi, il 10º è gratis» (9 washes, the 10th free) for car washes or a stamp for every coffee in cafés.
