VeeCard alternative? Compare Iterum on price, Wallet and staff
One VeeCard alternative is Iterum. Veeloy’s VeeCard costs from $9.99 a month (€9.99 on the Italian App Store), with unlimited customers, 4 staff accounts and a 30-day trial; customers sign up through their Apple or Google account. Iterum starts at €29.99 plus VAT a month, with the Wallet and unlimited staff users on every plan, and the card opens from the QR code with no app or account.
VeeCard and Iterum compared
VeeCard and Iterum both replace the paper punch card with a card on the customer’s phone, saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with no app for the customer to download. They differ on price, on how customers sign up, on the staff tool, on the number of card types and on who runs the service. The table sums up what each service states on its public pages on 19 October 2026.
We did not create a VeeCard account or install the app: the information comes from VeeCard’s Italian home page, checked against the English version, from VeeCard’s guides, its terms of service and its listings on the App Store and Google Play, and from Iterum’s pricing page.

How much does VeeCard cost in 2026, and how much does Iterum?
On 19 October 2026 VeeCard publishes three monthly plans, with the same amounts on its Italian and English home pages: Starter at $9.99 a month, Growth at $19.99 and Max at $29.99. Every plan has unlimited customers and stamps and no setup fee; what changes is the number of card designs and locations, staff accounts and push notifications. On the Italian App Store the same plans show as in-app purchases: «Avvio Carta Fedeltà» at €9.99 and «Crescita Carte Fedeltà» at €19.99. The website states no yearly price and does not say whether VAT is included.
Iterum Base costs €29.99 a month plus VAT, or €299.90 a year, Pro €99.99 and Premium €109.99 a month, with the yearly plan at ten monthly payments. On price alone VeeCard costs much less; what changes is the way you work: with Iterum customers create no account, staff can also work from a computer and there is no limit on staff users.
| Plan | Price | Per month | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| VeeCard Starter | $9.99 a month on the website; €9.99 on the Italian App Store | monthly only | 1 card design and 1 location, 4 staff accounts, 1,000 push notifications |
| VeeCard Growth | $19.99 a month on the website; €19.99 on the Italian App Store | monthly only | 5 designs and locations in total, 4 staff accounts per location, 4,000 push notifications |
| VeeCard Max | $29.99 a month on the website | monthly only | 10 designs and locations in total, 4 staff accounts per location, 10,000 push notifications |
| Iterum Base | €29.99 plus VAT a month, or €299.90 a year | €24.99 on the yearly plan | Wallet, stamps or points, unlimited staff users; 300 new customers a month |

What do you spend in the first year? Four cases
Here are four situations with the published prices. For VeeCard we use the euro prices of the Italian App Store where they exist, and the website’s dollar price for Max; Iterum’s prices exclude VAT. It is our own calculation on examples, not data from real businesses.
The result is clear: with a single shop, VeeCard Starter costs a third of Iterum Base monthly and about 40% of the yearly plan. Iterum makes sense if more than four people work the counter, if staff also need to work from a computer, if you want an Italian provider with prices in euros, or if customers should not have to sign in with an Apple or Google account.
| Case | VeeCard | Iterum |
|---|---|---|
| One shop, one card, up to 4 people at the counter | Starter: 12 × €9.99 = €119.88 | Base yearly: €299.90 plus VAT; monthly €359.88 plus VAT |
| Two locations under the same brand | Growth: 12 × €19.99 = €239.88 | Base plus one extra location at €23.99: €647.76 plus VAT on the monthly plan |
| More than 4 people at the counter in one location | The website lists 4 staff accounts per location on every plan | Base yearly: €299.90 plus VAT, no limit on staff users |
| You want to pay a year in advance | No yearly price stated | Base yearly: €299.90 plus VAT, that is ten monthly payments |
When VeeCard may be the better choice
VeeCard is the better deal when budget comes first: €9.99 a month on the Italian App Store is a third of Iterum Base’s monthly fee, and the 30-day trial is more than four times as long as ours. For a shop with one counter and a small team, that is a real advantage.
It also fits if you need its ready-made templates: prepaid balances, paid membership cards, status tiers with growing discounts, scratch cards or self-stamp, where customers stamp their own card. Iterum does not handle prepaid balances or prize games, and every visit or point goes through staff; prepaid packages, on the other hand, Iterum also has from the Pro plan. VeeCard also offers thousands of push notifications a month and a notification when the customer walks near the shop, while Iterum sends 2, 4 or 8 messages a month per location.
One detail to know before you launch: according to VeeCard’s FAQ, the total number of stamps and the reward tiers cannot be changed after publishing, unless you contact support.
Iterum as a VeeCard alternative: where it differs
With Iterum the customer opens the card from the QR code and saves it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on supported phones, with no account to create and no Apple or Google sign-in. VeeCard describes sign-up as one tap through the customer’s Apple or Google account, and that account keeps the stamps and points when they change phone.
Staff work in the browser with the «Al banco» counter app, on a phone, tablet or computer, and each person signs in with their own account, with roles and permissions and no user limit: the panel shows who confirmed each visit. With VeeCard staff use the app on iPhone or Android, with 4 accounts per location. Iterum is a service of FIDUS S.R.L., based in Rome: prices in euros plus VAT, monthly or yearly, and you build the card in the designer before you start the 7-day trial.
In return Iterum costs more, has a shorter trial that asks for a payment card to activate, sends 2, 4 or 8 messages a month per location and has no prepaid balances, scratch cards or self-stamp; prepaid packages come with the Pro plan. If you still have to pick the mechanic, read stamps or points loyalty card; for how customers add the card on Android, see the Google Wallet loyalty card guide.
VeeCard or Iterum: which one for your business?
How you work matters more than the provider’s name. Here are the most common cases, read against the public information of 19 October 2026; for single sectors there are guides for cafés, beauty salons and hair salons.
| Situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You want to spend as little as possible | VeeCard | From €9.99 a month on the Italian App Store against €29.99 plus VAT for Iterum Base monthly. |
| You sell prepaid packages or balances, or want tiers and scratch cards | VeeCard | They are among VeeCard’s eight templates; Iterum handles prepaid packages from the Pro plan, but not prepaid balances or prize games. |
| You want many push notifications or the one near the shop | VeeCard | From 1,000 notifications on Starter, plus the proximity notification; Iterum sends 2, 4 or 8 messages a month per location. |
| Customers should not have to sign in with an account | Iterum | The card opens from the QR code with no account; VeeCard describes one-tap sign-up through Apple or Google. |
| More than four people work the counter | Iterum | One account per team member with roles and permissions and no user limit; VeeCard lists 4 staff accounts per location. |
| Staff also need to work from a computer | Iterum | «Al banco» runs in the browser of a phone, tablet or computer; VeeCard uses an app for iPhone and Android. |
| You want an Italian provider and prices in euros, yearly too | Iterum | FIDUS S.R.L. in Rome, monthly or yearly plus VAT; VeeCard publishes monthly prices in dollars, with providers in Hangzhou and Hong Kong according to the stores. |
How to switch from VeeCard to Iterum without losing customers
Iterum’s public pages offer no import of customers from other services: each customer moves to the new card the first time they come back to the counter. Before you close VeeCard, give customers time to use the stamps, rewards and credit they already hold.
- If you sold prepaid packages or balances, let customers use them up before you close: Iterum does not handle prepaid balances, and from the Pro plan you sell new packages at the counter with Iterum.
- Do not ask Apple or Google for a refund while customers still have rewards to use: under VeeCard’s terms, a refund request made through Apple, Google or other payment providers allows it to close the account and revoke every card issued, without notice.
- Announce the switch with a notification to customers who agreed to receive messages; the rules are in loyalty card and GDPR.
- From the next visit, customers join Iterum from the counter QR code; the sign and the line to say at the till are in how to promote a loyalty card.
